Charles (Charlie) Hock, Hock Financial Group

Charlie utilizes his extensive experience to develop unique strategies to help addresses a client's concerns, needs and budget for their families and businesses.   

A Richmond, Virginia native, Charlie graduated from Benedictine High School and earned his BS in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. His career in insurance and financial services was launched when he joined Mutual of New York (MONY), where he was a consistent Top Club qualifier. In 1996, Charlie founded Hock Financial Group.  He is a life member of National Life Insurance Company's President's Club, Montpelier, VT. 

Charlie has earned numerous professional accolades including the prestigious Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation through the American College of Financial Services. As an active member of the Financial Services Professionals (FSP) Richmond Chapter, Charlie also served as their continuing education and professional sponsorship chairman. He has been a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) since 1974.

A life-long outdoorsman and Sponsor of Ducks Unlimited, Charlie served on several hunt club boards in Central Virginia. Always fond of river life, he and and his wife Margaret relocated to the Northern Neck in 2005 where their three adult children and their families visit often.

Charlie often teams up with Sam Van Saun. Together, they provide the best possible service through experience, knowledge, and cutting-edge products and strategies in the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula of Virginia, Central Virginia, Washington, D.C., and throughout the United States.
